Acupuncture for Life

Caroline Chen, L.Ac. completed her B.A. in Biochemistry at the University of Texas at Austin before going on to earn her Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MSAOM) at South Baylo University in Anaheim, California. After passing her licensure exams, she headed to Tianjin, China for nearly 2 years and interned at Tian He Hospital under the guidance of Dr. Xing. There, she gained further experience treating a wide variety of disorders - pain management, post-stroke rehabilitation, stress management, and smoking cessation, among others.

After 8 years of practicing independently in Houston, Texas, Caroline now practices at Hiatus Spa + Retreat in Austin at 1611 West 5th St., Suite 155. In addition to working with guests towards achievement of wellness goals, she has particular interest in public education and dispelling myths about acupuncture and herbs. One of her favorite activities is speaking at health fairs and other public events, so be sure to talk to her if you see her at any events!

Caroline is licensed to practice Acupuncture and Herbology in the state of California (Lic #9794) as well as nationally under the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (Lic #00766).
